Women aged 40 and above are more prone to breast cancer. This is a perception we society usually have about breast cancer. However recent findings have proven all wrong as many more women below the age of 40 are suffering or diagnosed with this form of cancer. Below are the few means of reducing the susceptibility of developing breast cancer.
Going to bed early
The most elementary way of mitigating the chances of obtaining cancer is to go to bed early as research shown that women with insufficient sleep is more prone than that who has sufficient sleep of 6 to 8 hours. Sleep is vital in regulating and keeping the hormones at its optimum level.
Watch your diet
Avoid fried food and processed food such as bacon, hot dogs, fries and such food contains carcinogenic substances which could cause cancer in the long run. Though there are many factors that might be the culprit behind the cancer, reducing intake of such food might just help as well.
Understanding your family history
It is crucial to understand your family history as it would create awareness on what are the types of diseases that runs within your family. Knowing and understanding your family history can also aid in early detection and probably cure for the disease, particularly cancer and thus it is your responsibility to know and be aware of your family history
