I had a mass on my breast. The word to emphasize is "had." By focusing on cleaning my mind, body, my emotions, and my spirit, I was able to shift it out of me. Yes, I shifted cancer out of my body naturally. I made many important lifestyle changes and the results came back crystal clear: no cancer.
How did I do this without chemotherapy and other surgical options, such as mastectomy or lumpectomy? First, I am a believer in energy work and have dedicated my life to helping others correct misaligned energy to make positive shifts in their lives (after all, we are energetic beings). Second, I had to make major changes in my eating habits. I was no different from any other person eating the standard American diet (which consists of high-carb, high-calorie, non-nutritive foods). I had to do some work to shift many of my subconscious beliefs about food and nutrition. Part of this journey involved creating my hypnotherapy CD, I Decide and I Create the Body I Want. Then, I had to take action by making conscious food choices, not unconscious ones.
The first rule of thumb for healing your body is to reduce the toxins from your diet and your environment. Part of the cancer puzzle is toxicity overload. The body becomes so overloaded with toxins that vital organs start to malfunction, and some of them might even come close to shutting down, like the immune system! Did you know that your intestines are the largest part of your immune system?
The purpose of shifting your diet is to reduce the body's toxic load, and to get it to a level where your body can manage toxins with ease and grace. I'm not saying that you have to be toxin-free, because, after all, that might be tough to do. How do you get away from outdoor air pollution, for example? However, there are many things you can do to clean your diet and your environment to reduce your toxic load. By doing so, you can then handle more effectively those toxins that are beyond your control.
Instead of dreading the idea of "getting rid" of toxic foods and substances, go in another direction instead: simply start increasing the amount of good, clean foods in your diet. By increasing the good foods, you will start to push out the bad foods naturally. This way, it won't feel like a chore or a heavy burden to eliminate bad foods and deprive yourself. (Your body doesn't like to be deprived!) As you increase the good foods, your body will feel better and it will create a new memory: "Good food makes me feel better!" By creating a new memory, your body will naturally gravitate toward what makes it feel better and more complete. In truth, your body is starving for nutrition and trying desperately to get the right foods to feel complete and whole again!
Here are some great tips for getting started:
(Of course, always check with your physician before making any major changes.)
• Increase your daily consumption of organic, raw produce. Eat more lettuce or eat more apples. Choose whatever you'd like to eat, but keep it raw, organic, and simple.
• Just browse at the local Farmer's market at first. You don't have to maintain an "all or nothing" attitude. Simply browse and buy a few items that look great. Before you know it, the positive atmosphere of the Farmer's market will rub off on you, and you'll start making better purchases that will increase your health and well-being. Don't you just love the scents and textures of the local market? Smell the roses; check out the fragrant herbs; peruse the lavender section, eat some organic samples from the vendors!
• Increase foods in your diet that have antimicrobial properties, such as garlic, turmeric (Indian spice), cilantro (Chinese parsley), radishes, leeks, rosemary, and many others!
• Switch to purified water. Start drinking purified water. Preferably, purchase water bottles that are BPA-free. BPAs are chemicals that leach out of those yucky plastic bottles. Now, some companies offer BPA-free bottles of water. And don't count eight-ounce glasses; just drink whatever you can in a day. Once you get used to quenching your thirst with purified water, you'll train your body to drink more of it, and less of the soda and sugary energy drinks.
• Increase your omega-3 fatty acids. This is an essential piece of the nutrition puzzle. Americans eat so much omega-6 in the form of saturated fats, and we forget about the essential omega-3. In order to be in balance, the omega-3 to omega-6 ratio should be 1:1. Can you believe that Americans have a ratio of 30:1? This severe imbalance is purported to be a culprit in many of the standard diseases-of-the-day (heart disease, diabetes, cancer.)
• Add sprouted nuts and seeds to your diet. Why sprouted, and what are sprouted nuts anyway? Good, organic nut growers soak their nuts and seeds in purified water for 24 hours. This allows important enzymes to be released that are highly beneficial. When you eat raw nuts, these important enzymes are trapped in the nut and can't be utilized by the body. The soaking process allows the enzymes to become bio-available.
Just start with a few simple ideas and then keep adding more ideas, as you feel better. This is a great way to shift the energy and create new memories that your body will appreciate!
